Zuii Organic Lipsticks, in 18 colors ranging from nudes, pinks and reds, are rich and creamy natural lipsticks, providing nourishment for your lips.
Zuii Organic is an Australian based natural beauty brand, concentrated on offering a wide selection of natural makeup – from foundation, lipsticks, eye shadows and mascaras.
Ever since I started using natural beauty products and my skin therefore healing itself, I focused more on skin care products, as opposed to makeup products; but that does not mean I gave up on makeup, not even close!
Zuii Organic Lipsticks come in a simple black lipstick tubes; tubes that are reminiscent of the lipsticks from the 80s. The lipsticks have a gentle and pleasant scent; a quite typical one for the lipsticks.
Their texture is, due to carnauba and beeswax, quite solid, not melty, even though it’s creamy. The application is easy and smooth. The pigmentation of Zuii Organic Lipsticks is fairly strong and the finish, while matte, also has just a bit of a subtle wetness to it, so the lipsticks do not appear dry on the lips. Likewise, they are not drying, but you can always use a bit of a lipbalm under the lipsticks – for more moisturizing and if you prefer for the lipsticks to appear a bit more sheer. The staying power of Zuii Organic Lipsticks is also quite good.
Due to containing jojoba and sunflower oil, along with Vitamins E and A, Zuii Organic Lipsticks also provide nourishment to the lips.

The colors I’ve picked for the review are from a nude family: Nude, Natural and Cashmere.
Zuii Organic Nude Lipstick is a lighter shade of nude, with a happy peachy undertone; great for during the day and especially during summer.
Zuii Organic Natural Lipstick would be best described as a true nude color, with about 30% pink undertone and 70% light brown.
Zuii Organic Cashmere Lipstick is an elegant, rich and pigmented mauve-y color, basically a perfect color for my taste. It has a richer matte finish compared to the Nude and Natural ones. While the Nude and Natural would go perfect with a less subtle eye makeup, the Cashmere one would be perfect in combination with a light eye makeup. As the Cashmere is easily layerable, you can apply only a bit of it for during the day, if you prefer less dramatic look but still with a hint of a rich color one.

As far as toxicity, there’s none, but the lipsticks contain carmine, which most probably won’t be appealing to vegans.

My final word?
Zuii Organic Lipsticks, especially with so many colors to choose from, are a great companion for anyone’s cosmetic bag. They are nourishing, quite pigmented and the colors are really appealing; while there are no wild colors to pick from (though there are a few really dark ones, such as Cranberry, Plum and Sugar Plum), I am sure any lady, who likes natural lipsticks will be able to find at least one color for herself, though I am more certain it would be harder to pick just one.
I am really liking the three colors I’ve picked to review, and of course, there are more colors on my wish list now that I’ve tried these three: Butterscotch, Sheer Rose, Pink Fresh and Classic Red.
Price? The Zuii Organic Lipsticks fall somewhere in middle of natural lipsticks when it comes to price – €19,95. Not very expensive, but also not easily affordable, especially when you’d wish to buy more than one – and believe me – you would. But the colors and performance of these lipsticks justify the price.
Would I buy Zuii Organic Lipsticks again? Most certainly!
