Hello greenies! Spring is now officially here, even though she’s been peaking in for a while now; this past Winter has been mild, quite warm and quite sunny, so I took as much time as possible to sneak away, get lost in the most beautiful forest I’ve known since I was a few months old. I’ve been enjoying working around my country house and just seeing the work done and the beautiful nature waking up, flowers popping up, trees blooming…

So, yeah, one of the reasons I haven’t posted the discounts posts in quite some time was me enjoying the beautiful sunny weather and being slammed with many of the projects I am working on. But that is not the only reason. I’ve grown a bit tired of certain aspects of the so called green beauty community. It’s not just becoming rather indifferent to the growing ridiculousness of seeing, especially on Instagram (when I even have a moment to peak in), a post after post, day after day, of grown bloggers being obsessed, in love and what not with a new products every other day; and of course, they are able to give you an honest and based-on-experience review of each of those products they’ve been so thoroughly testing for a few days. I don’t think it’s just pure greed of some, who are unable to turn down (at least for the time being) a free product and they just keep on amassing tons of them and then are required to post about them as soon as possible. The other is also this feeling they have that in order to get free stuff, they must keep up with other bloggers who are doing the same thing. And then you have these new green beauty bloggers, who a year ago jumped on a bandwagon and had to quickly buy tons of products, and praise all of them in hopes that other brands will see what they’re doing and – get them free stuff or make them ambassadors (getting free stuff to promote and feel important by being an ambassador, whereas businesses laugh as they know how important such titles are to some).

And to piggyback on the above – the main reason why I’ve been a bit of a missing in action is the fact that along with that China the scary narc broad (who’s been stealing stuff from me), I’ve found out there’s another, even scarier one. She popped up as a green beauty blogger by shamelessly first stealing my Toxic ingredients list (basically, word for word, the format – you name it!), then stealing basically my whole posts – from my opinions, reviews etc – which are based on an amassed knowledge and decades of experience, expressions, posts formatting attempts to style photos the same way as I do,.. I mean I could go on and on! I’ll show you just how shameless this thief is when I get enough time to waste to create a Twitter thread on this. Reading a few of her posts, it’s clear she’s completely clueless about green beauty products; she’s only copying what others are saying. And not surprisingly, given the sate of the green beauty, such are the bloggers, who are now even invited to be on awards’ panels. When you have someone, who can only show what they’ve stolen, someone, who expertly claims that a “tonic” containing water and a few drops of essential oils is a great product – especially since it was given for free, I mean… She’s a permanent feature on my blog, stealing everything in sight. Despicable. I’ve talked to several brand owners and several beauty store owners, and their stance is they would never work with someone like that. Yet, there are still some businesses, which do, which leads me to the question: aside from stealing, are these businesses equally as clueless about green beauty to be working with those, who are?

It just goes on and on, this stealing from me, from the moment I’ve gone live with my blog (which was in the making at least 4 years prior to going live). Blog design, blog colors, post formatting, expressions, whole posts, collages, photo styling, guide posts, directories, you name it, they’ve stolen. And are praised for it.

So yeah, you can see how these thieves can make you think like I’d just delete my whole blog (even though, they’ve already stolen pretty much everything by now); how could it not?

My dear readers – you’ve been sending me messages “where are the discounts posts?!” for weeks now; I hear you! I know the discounts post idea has also been stolen, but then again, what hasn’t? Yet, you won’t find all the discounts, free organic beauty gifts and new launches as comprehensive as the one that I’ve collected bellow: should you need to re-stock or just take advantage of the great savings and free gifts – it’s all there and them some!

And in case you’ve missed, I’ve reviewed Ere Perez Chamomile Eyeshadow Palette this week; and for the next week, I’ve got my first impressions of this month’s Love Lula Beauty Box, and a few more posts focused on makeup for you.

And right now, I am sprinting out – the weather is just too warm, sunny and beautiful, not to hop around nature!

Happy Spring!
