Jane Scrivner 'OO' Cream Protect, Hydrate and Mattify Review

Jane Scrivner ‘OO’ Cream Protect, Hydrate and Mattify, suitable for all skin types, deeply hydrates the skin without the shine but with film-forming protection. Thanks to Love Lula, I’ve had a chance to try quite a few products from Jane Scrivner now (I’ve already reviewed their mask) and have a few on my wishlist as well; there’s this air of luxury around Jane Scrivner products, but the prices of their products, even though not very easily affordable, fall somewhere in the middle. I’ve been using the Jane Scrivner OO Cream for a while now – both in my morning and evening skincare routines and my skin has accepted it with open arms. The Jane Scrivner OO Cream comes in two […]

My Morning Skincare Routine #6

These past months have surely been strange; so many things that used to be a part of some continuous schedule have, by some weird reasons, fallen aside… including reporting on my current skincare routines. I thought it’s time to slowly get back on track with all the things which are, one way or the other, important to me. My current morning skincare routine is somewhere in between seasons, with a Summer season becoming more and more overpowering: hydrolates are, of course, still present, the mask are quick pick me ups, serums are more on a creamy-side based, at least one face oil is a must, in this edition of my morning skincare routine it’s the lovely raspberry oil… The links […]

Kathleen Natural Refreshing & Lightening Cleansing Lotion Review

Kathleen Natural Refreshing & Lightening Cleansing Lotion is gentle to the skin while thorough in cleansing the skin; a great choice of a cleanser for any skin type and for any season as well as gentle enough as an eye makeup remover.ย  In December I posted my Best of Green Beauty 2019 post, which featured, as an honorary mention, theย Kathleen Natural Refreshing & Lightening Cleansing Lotion as one of the best products I’ve been using in the previous year but which has not received a full and thorough review yet. I’ve decided to open the year 2020 on my blog with one of the best facial cleansers I’ve had a chance to try so far – the Kathleen Natural Cleansing […]

My Evening Skincare Routine #5

Rain these past weeks has been abundant and abundantly annoying, while Sun has been too shy behind, what seems, never ending clouds. Sure, it hasn’t been really cold, but chilly enough for my skin to crave more nourishing treatments. I do make sure to balance the textures, layers and frequency of certain products – in all my routines – evening and morning routines, which are followed by makeup routines. I know it may seem like there’s a lot of products mentioned here and in a way – it is. But I do not use all the products at once or every day, and I’ve been using many of these products for a while now; I also do my very best […]

My Morning Skincare Routine #5

With all the rain, chilly and moody weather, beautiful October all of the sudden seems so far… My morning skincare routine now consists of more oily textures, but since I use more creamy-based makeup, as well as more oily and nourishing – even layered – products in my evening skincare routine, I try not to overload my skin in the morning. The links for all the products are the end of this post. My Morning Skincare Routine: Cleansing When I layer more products the previous evening (serum, mask, face oil), I opt for the affordable and nicely scentedย Alteya Organics Facial Cleanser & Wash in Vanilla & Geranium.ย I have just received the Alteya Organics Rose & Jasmine Facial Cleanser & Wash, […]
