It's been a while since I posted my current makeup routine, hasn't it? It was all the way back in December 2019. When everythings was different. Normal.

While there's still nearly a month left of Summer, the change of seasons is already in the air. This Summer hasn't been really hot, but nonetheless it was and still is time for Summer makeup - not just the Summer colors, bright and perky, but textures and formulations as well: dry, powdery ones. Makeup look: minimal and light.

As it's been a while since I talked about my evening skincare routine, I thought I'd drop a condensed version of which products I've been using lately to pamper myself. And as always - there's quite a number of products mentioned here, but I use only a few per one routine session.

🌻 Cleansing and Toning:
• Alteya Organics Face Wash Cleanser, a foaming cleanser for a thorough cleansing, especially when wearing makeup and/sunscreen. • Nature's Kitchen Soothing Face Wash with a gentle AHA peel. • Kathleen Natural Cleansing Lotion for eye makeup removal or as the main cleanser (mainly) when staying home. • As always, one of the Alteya Organics hydrolates as a toning option; lately mostly the rosa centifolia one.

• What I've been up to?
On the surface, things seem kinda the same. Until you grab a mask on your way to the store and see others waering it too. And sometimes seeing others wearing a mask makes you feel a bit relieved like phew, it's not just in my head. Strange. // I am having a hard time comprehending many things this year, including how much of this year has already passed. // How blessed I am by God for being able to go to my country house any time I want, wander around the deep forest... // Hope and faith. And love. Reading God's word, immersing myself into God's word...

Hair shampoos and conditioners. Shampoos are those type of products that are used a lot and some natural hair care products are way too expensive. But not the Natura Sibetica ones I've been using for a while now and will post a review soon.

• My wishlist:
- @dr.botanicals
Hemp infused enzyme mask and rescue serum. Been curious about these two for a while now. I've been using an enzyme mask from @natures_kitchen_skincare
And liking @lovelulabeauty
Own Oils of Heaven Hemp seed oil so... I'm curious.
- @rmsbeauty
Luminizer X mini quad. The big one has been on my wishlist for ever as it is; the mini one is more affordable.

• Rant of the month:
- These two narcs, the scary and the crazy, are not letting up their thievery. And a Dunning-Kruger effect is in full force, as it is always the case with these soulless creatures.
- Bloggers, who are having their work stolen , are starting taking a legal route and suing every last penny out of these thieves. It's about time!
- Again, the opposite of a narcissist is not an empath as these narcs would want you to belueve in order to covert their true selves. The opposite is a normal, emotionally and psychologically stable human being. With a soul.

By the number of products featured in this photo it may seem like my morning skincare routine is complicated, but it's not. These are the products I've been using for the past month or so, but most certainly not all at once or often either for that matter. While just in the past few days we've been having a more heatwave-like weather, it was still hot enough to opt for a minimal yet as hydrating skincare routine as possible.

🍀 Cleansing:

• Alteya Organics centifolia rose water

🍀 Masking/Peeling
• @madaracosmetics sos mask and regene mask; • @ayuminaturals turmeric skin polish

🍀 SPF/MOISTURIZING:
• @fomlondonskincare hydro and glow serums; • Alteya Organics light serum; • @mossacosmetics youth power booster; • @ereperezcosmetics moringa all-beauty creme ; • Oils of Heaven Raspberry seed oil; • Madara eye cream

Some of the combinations of the above mentioned products:

▪︎ Most often the first product used would be the Fom hydra serum - it is watery, light, fast absorbing and a great choice for combining it with all the other products. I follow up with either Alteya Organics light serum or Mossa power booster or Ere Perez moringa creme - these more creamy products are used when I opt for foundation (very minimal amount of it) - be it Madara liquid foundation, Lavera compact foundation or @inikaorganic mineral powder foundation. When opting for a minimal makeup look, I use Fom glow serum, sometimes followed by tiny amount of Ere Perez moringa creme or even OOH Raspberry oil.

The natural alternative to such ingredients providing SPF are, for example, zinc oxide and titanium oxide - though these two ingredients can also be irritating and clogging pores.

Quickly absorbing, softening face oil. Smells lovely, sweet, fruty, candy-like. . . 🌺 @kathleen_uk Citrus Cheer Bubble Bath & Shower Gel: luxurious indulgence for clean and soft skin. Delicious scent is a mixture of citrus and flower scent. Price too high, though. . . 🌺 @kmhumble Sweet Pea & Verbena Hand Cream: right on time, double right on time at that! Absorbs under a minute, does not leave any sticky or greasy feeling behind, just velvety soft, nourished hand. And a luxurious mixture of feminine floraland distant citrusy scent. . . 🌺 @elsasorganics Detox Natural Deodorant: an activated charcoal based deodorant - promoting detox process. Lessens perspiration, contains quite a lot of refreshing scent sources (lemon, lemongrass, neroli). Quite solid/hard texture makes it hard to apply, but that also makes this deodorant not feeling sticky or leaving any residue. The price is too steep for an essential product, though. . .
