My Makeup Routine #6

It’s been a while since I posted my current makeup routine, hasn’t it? It was all the way back in December 2019. Things have been much different back then. Normal. And while there’s still nearly a month left of Summer, the change of seasons is already in the air. This Summer hasn’t been really hot, but nonetheless, it was and still is time for Summer makeup – not just the Summer colors – bright and perky, but textures and formulations as well. Formulations have been mainly the dry ones, powdery ones. Makeup look – minimal and light. The links for these products are listed at the end of this post. My Makeup Routine: Foundation During Summer, are usually and mostly opt […]

My Makeup Routine #5

It’s getting colder and colder and my skin’s been yearning for oilier, heavier textures. As I layer quite a few richer textures before applying a foundation, I’ve been opting for a foundation that’s also thicker in texture but also offers more coverage with a minimal amount of a product used. The colors are a mixture of berry and golden ones. I do not use all the products mentioned in this post at once and, as always, I aim for as minimal natural look as possible. The links for these products are listed at the end of this post.   My Makeup Routine: Foundation My current morning skincare routine is all about layering richer textures, starting with a serum, followed by a […]

My Makeup Routine #4

I can’t recall as beautiful October as this one has been – very warm and sunny; up until now, when it’s gotten rainy and quite cold. I’ve been using several different textures of makeup, specifically foundations, switching between creamy, water-based and finally – a BB cream foundation. The colors have been (and will have continue) rotating around earth brown and berry ones… My Makeup Routine: Foundation I’ve been alternating between a few foundations this month. When it was still quite warm, I opted for the trusted Ere Perez Quinoa Water Foundation (full review here): after a light serum, I apply a drop of this foundation, then slightly buff it in before blending it out. This foundation is perfect for those, who prefer […]

My Makeup Routine #3

Oh, how quickly the seasons change – just one month ago, my makeup routine was in line accordingly to a hot Summer weather – very minimal and light. With September, a more chilly weather arrived and my makeup routine adapted to it by incorporating more creamy textures and a bit more eye color here and there. My Makeup Routine: Foundation Gradually, I am switching from loose mineral powder to more creamy textures. Currently, I am using Ere Perez Quinoa Water Foundation (full review here). It’s a light foundation, which offers a buildable coverage, but I use just a tiny bit of it to even out my skin tone; the goal is not to achieve a full coverage, at all, just that natural finish with […]

My Makeup Routine #2

If my previous Summer makeup routine consisted of (still) quite a number of makeup products, this one has even less; it’s been a very hot Summer, and just like my morning skincare routines and evening skincare routines, my makeup routine has been as minimal as possible. My Makeup Routine: Foundation If around June, I was still wearing the Ere Perez Water Foundation, I’ve soon switched to only Inika Loose Mineral Foundation (full review here) – while a full coverage is easily achieved with this excellent mineral foundation, during the hot Summer, I usually apply only a thin layer of this foundation – one swipe. It works great with another excellent product – the  Alteya Organics Rose Otto Face Sunscreen SPF25 (full review here). […]
