Right on time before my mega annual Green Friday event, is the first of the two mega Holiday gift guides: the first one is a gift guide dedicated to Love Lula. I’ve been closely working with this innovative green beauty store for many years now; quite honestly, there’s no green beauty store like Love Lula. The way they understand green beauty and experienced green beauty bloggers is on a completely different level.
Being their accredited blogger means I am in a constant touch with this green beauty store; sometimes with their customer service, which is prompt, professional yet friendly – top notch. As their blogger, I am gifted many products from their vast and ever expanding assortment of green beauty goodies; no matter how much I try to stay up to date with all the products available at Love Lula, there’s always something new and exciting going on.
There’s another aspect of working with Love Lula that I should point out, another unique aspect. Ever since the thought of setting up my own green beauty blog came to me, I knew my blog will be much different from any other, and that includes my personality, my values, my integrity being visible in everything I do – and that includes being honest. Being honest about my experience, my knowledge about green beauty products – and this is visible in all my reviews. Being that green beauty industry is not always what it seems, what it portrays to be, and that includes green beauty businesses, sometimes subtly, sometimes directly, demanding a positive review, unless a blogger wishes to be blacklisted – this is another aspect where Love Lula is a lone rider. Ever since I became their accredited blogger, and thus written many articles/reviews of the products they’ve gifted to me, not once, there has never been one single suggestion, hint of how I should review the products. My reviews are honest and analytical, and I present all the aspects of every product – and even if sometimes I don’t like a product or think the price is too high, Love Lula has never held that against me; in fact, from all my communications with them, honesty is what they’ve always pushed for.
And that stance of Love Lula corresponds with the reviews published on their store as well; with an obvious and expected drama surrounding brands/stores posting fake reviews, if you take a look around the Love Lula store and read the reviews, you’ll find the positive and negative reviews – going back years – it’s all there, no fake reviews, no deleting of negative reviews, and no hints or demands of leaving positive reviews. Just transparency and honesty.
In this year’s Love Lula Holiday Gift Guide, I’ve parted the gifts into several categories, based on the price points – because you don’t have to break the bank to fill up your green beauty shelf: there are gifts under 10, under 30 and under 50 (all prices are in GBP). Then there are luxury gifts, which are over 50 and gift sets. The gift sets are especially flying off the Love Lula warehouse shelf; some I’ve planned on including in this guide, yet are already gone. I’d like to point out the Inika gift sets and the Lavera gift set, which includes two of my favorite products – the rose body wash and body lotion (read my full review here); sold separately, they cost £16, whereas the gift set is £9,95! Just to name a few of the great deals. Oh, and there’s a discount included at the end of this post, so you can save even more!
