Akamuti Replenishing Rose Face Cream Review Ingredients: Rosehip Seed Oil (Rosa moschata), Organic Golden Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Organic Beeswax (Cera alba), Raspberry Seed Oil (Rubus idaeus), Organic Pomegranate Seed Oil (Punica granatum), Rose Otto Essential Oil (Rosa damascena), Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (Cananga odorata), Lavender Essential Oil (Lavendula angustifolia). Limonene* Linalool* Citronellol* Benzyl Benzoate* Geraniol* Benzyl Salicylate* Farnesol* Eugenol* Benzyl Alcohol* Isoeugenol*   * Natural constituents of the essential oils used in the product (especially Ylang Ylang!).

Akamuti Replenishing Rose Face Cream is, as far as the ingredients go, Akamuti Replenishing Rose Facial Oil’s cousin. The texture of this cream is very thick and oily, and the scent is nearly identical to that of a rose facial oil, just that it’s not as strong, and with a bit of a pomegranate scent going on – nice smell at any rate.

The spreadability of Akamuti Replenishing Rose Face Cream is pretty easy, but due to its thickness, it does not absorb quickly. I have combination to oily skin, and despite using only a tiny amount of the cream, my skin did not absorb it to the point where shinning would not be visible anymore. And that saying “little goes a long way” would be an understatement with Akamuti Replenishing Rose Face Cream – really – only a tiny amount will cover your whole face and neck. While Akamuti lists it as a moisturizer, and the cream does have ingredients promoting hydration to the skin, this cream, due to its rich texture, is much more nourishing. I use it only before sleep, and my skin looks really fed and nourished the next morning. It would be excellent for dry skin, even though I wouldn’t recommend it to be used before foundation, even for dry skin.

Akamuti Replenishing Rose Face Cream The ingredients, as previously mentioned, are nearly identical to Akamuti Replenishing Rose Facial Oil. Rosehip Seed Oil is rich in essential fatty acids; it promotes cell and tissue regeneration. It is an excellent anti-aging oil, with anti-bacterial properties, and a great oil for oily skin. Jojoba Oil is a sebum identical ingredient, with very moisturizing properties, which smooths and softens the skin. Raspberry Seed Oil is a potent antioxidant with antibacterial and anti-acne properties. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil balances the skin by normalizing sebum production and has anti-irritant and anti-aging properties. Like Jojoba oil and Ylang Ylang, Geranium Essential Oil also balances and regulates oil and sebum, thus being great for oily and acne prone skin, as well as for dry and mature skin. It has anti-inflammatory, astringent and antiseptic properties. Pomegranate Seed Oil is a potent antioxidant, high in essential acids and Omega5. Lavender Essential Oil has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. And – the precious Rose Otto Essential Oil.

Beeswax can be comedogenic.

Potentially problematic ingredients? None. Benzyl Benzoate and Benzyl Alcohol for example, as listed, are natural constituents of the essential oils.

My final word?

Akamuti Replenishing Rose Face Cream is a rich and nourishing cream, great for daily use for those with dry skin and the skin in a dire need of nourishment. For those, who have combination, and especially oily skin, I would suggest using it a few times a week – more like a nourishing mask, really. I did have a bit of a congestion feeling with this cream, but that is due to beeswax, so those, who suffer from severe acne and/or who know that beeswax is comedogenic for their skin, I would rather suggest Akamuti Replenishing Rose Facial Oil.

And you know what? You can easily use this cream for hands as well – try it and you’ll see your hands nourished and soft in the morning.

Just as Akamuti Orange Cleanser and Scrub, the cream comes in a 50ml plastic container, and I strongly suggest you keep this cream in a refrigerator. The cream contains no preservatives and it says its shelf life is 6 months, but given how little of the cream is needed, I think this cream will last you way past 6 months.

Price? Approximately 19€ for 50ml, which is very affordable. Would I buy it again? You know, I’d much prefer a 30ml container, even for the same price, as this cream really goes a long way, and given my oily skin, I use it more like a mask, so I am certain I won’t use up half of it by the time 6 months come around. The cream is very nourishing and leaves the skin soft. With affordable price and very nourishing effect, I can see why it’s a bestseller!

Akamuti Organic Honey & Chamomile Lip Balm Review

I seem to never have enough lip balms, and I go through them even faster than I go through hydrolates.

Akamuti Organic Honey & Chamomile Lip Balm Review Akamuti Oragnic Honey & Chamomile Lip Balm is a treat for my lips! Love it! It has a gentle scent of chamomile. It is so nourishing and makes the lips so soft! It feels very light as well. It looks a bit glossy on the lips, like you’re wearing a clear lip gloss. The lip balm contains all the right ingredients you’re looking for in a natural lip balm: honey, cocoa butter, olive oil and soothing chamomile. I was a bit surprised how long this lip balms lasts (I’ve been using it for the past 3 months! – , and I have around 3 weeks left of this lip balm), especially since I’ve been generously slathering it, oh heck, probably 20 times a day – at least, and it seems this will be the only Akamuti product I will use before its shelf life expires!

Now, here’s the problem. Imagine, I’ve been dipping my fingers into this container quite a lot, so I would really love if Akamuti poured this awesome lip balm in a lip tube. I know I’d be stacking on the lip balm tubes!

Price? Around 5€ for 15ml. Yes, another super affordable product from Akamuti. Would I buy it again? Absolutely yes, I am really loving this little thing! But, as I said – I am apprehensive about dipping fingers into beauty products on a daily basis – or as in the case of the lip balm – at least 20 times a day. Do I recommend Akamuti Organic & Chamomile Lip Balm? Without a doubt – 100%!
