Hello greenies! Oh boy, it’s been a while since I posted the discounts post, hasn’t it? Quite honestly, it feels like yesterday, since the time is flying by so fast. I guess it was a mixture of super hot Summer weather and the fact I fall down every now and again; just when I think things might have started looking on a bright side, I get sucked back in. But I take all this as it comes, as a natural and needed process, always with hope and faith. It’s a process and it takes time; if you go to fast and jump over the things without dealing with them, you will have, eventually, to go back and deal with them. But all in all, things are moving forward, the light is brighter every day, even if dim on some days.

Those bloggers, who blog with our hearts and want to provide you, our dear readers, the best content we can – those are the bloggers who feel the most pressure when we may not deliver as frequently as we might have in the past – but we are only human, and our blogs, regardless how much they mean to us, can sometime take a backseat to everything that’s happening in our lives.

And there are some, who, at the moment might be even leading bloggers in the green blogging community, who, naturally, do not feel any pressure. These are the bloggers, who, without much if any effort, churn out reviews after a week of getting the products, who post mindless daily (AM, PM and anything in between) routines – readers and potential customers are truly taken for a ride with them. And then there are those who, without any shame, steal your content – the whole darn post on Instagram, for example (obviously, finding bloggers who copied my blog design, the way I approach my reviews, the whole intro guide, store directories, photo designs… may even now look like small thieves)! I am watching this unfold in disbelief! And the brands, whose products I’ve reviewed, are mindlessly liking and commenting on these stolen Instagram posts, whereas – imagine this! – did not even pay attention to my – original – post. I mean what is going on here?! A post on Instagram regarding this travesty is in order, indeed!

Thank you for all the emails you’ve been sending me – I had found myself in an overwhelmed situation with all the emails, planned posts and everything else that goes behind the scenes – but nevertheless – as always – I am grateful for all the notes I receive from you, my lovely readers. It stings the most I am unable to sit down and write a few of the emails to very special people, but I know I will…

One of the emails I’ve received lately was from Anna who’s asking me which brand I’d recommend for mature skin – I don’t think I could point out just one brand, as many brands have products as well as lines suitable for mature skin. As it’s always the case with your emails – they serve as an inspiration for my posts as well, so maybe I’ll just post an article regarding the products for mature skin?

Not to go too far ahead with what I have in store for you in the upcoming weeks, but just a quick note – there will be reviews of toners, BB cream, cleanser, a cute palette…

So yeah, that’s a rant for today. And bellow, you can find a selection of this week’s discounts and many free gifts with purchase; the Summer sales are in full swing, so in case you need something, check the discounts bellow and save a few bucks – why not, right?

I thought about posting a bit longer post on monthly Love Lula Beauty Boxes. I have to emphasize that these posts are just a quick first impressions on the products from Love Lula Beauty Box – not in any shape or form full reviews – the full reviews of the products will come later.

Love Lula July Beauty Box

I think July’s Beauty Box is quite awesome, as it contains balanced categories of products – hair care, makeup and skincare. Total worth of this month’s Love Lula Beauty Box is £60, however, with a subscription to Love Lula’s monthly Beauty Box, you can get it for the price of one product in the box – from £13,95 on. With the Beauty Box comes also a discount code of 20% on all the brands from the current Beauty Box as well.

Oh, and this month’s Beauty Box can be yours for free as well, but more on that bellow.

So what’s in July’s Love Lula Beauty Box?

Madara Fine Line Minimizing Cream 20ml – very light, gentle and velvety cream, with fast absorption and matte finish. Seeing Madara included in my Love Lula Beauty Box is always a treat.

Lyonsleaf Marshmallow Facial Oil full size – haven’t had a chance to try any products from this brand so far. Quick impression of this facial oil – it’s very rich and given it contains two “heavy” oils – Borago and Baobab oil, this one will have to wait for a colder weather to be properly tested and reviewed. The facial oil also contains geranium and centifolia, so you can expect a lovely scent as well. Very affordable product.

PHB Ethical Beauty Natural Mascara full size – one layer of this mascara gives a nice color to the lashes, with a medium volume, but not much lengthening. Two layers give an even bigger volume and nice length. The mascara does clump a bit, but for a more thorough review, I’ll have to test it some more.

REN Satin Perfection BB Cream 3 ml – a small tube, sample size. I thought the BB cream might be a bit on a darker side for me, however, given it’s sheer finish, that’s not so much of a problem, and it looks pretty in line with my skin tone. The final result, based on a quick application and first impression is a bit of a dewy and very velvety skin. Nice. But in order to give you a detailed review, I’d have to test a bigger size; and I just might in the future. At the moment, it doesn’t seem available on Love Lula site.

John Masters Organics Spearmint & Meadowsweet Shampoo 60ml – a travel size; the full size is currently out of stock. A very minty shampoo, the scent if quite strong, though I can’t say if it’s long lasting. Given the ingredients – all the minty ones – I’d say it offers a refreshing feeling on the scalp. A more detailed review will come later.

And you can get all these goodies for FREE – Love Lula has July’s Beauty Box for free when you spend £60 – just use a code FREEBOX. Cool, isn’t it?

Nudus lipsticks are luxurious, handcrafted, all natural with 27 active botanical ingredients, long lasting, hydrating and softening and whose high pigmented beautiful colors are derived from bioactive color extracts.

Nudus Lipstick Review

I think the headline for these beauties called Nudus lipsticks should suffice, but they do, indeed, deserve a detailed review – and this review was planned to go live nearly two years ago – yes, it’s taken so long to finally feature these amazing beauties from Australia. I’ve got them back in 2015 to test and review them for you, my lovely readers, and as you know, in that time and after it, many things have happened in my life, and I am slowly trying to somehow get back on track.

I’m sure you’ve heard by now of these, rightfully so, popular and all natural lipsticks called Nudus, right? And, basically, everything that you’ve heard – is correct.

The Nudus lipsticks are handmade in small batches in Australia. The founder of Nudus, Diana, has spent many years on creating these beautiful, all-natural lipsticks. If you ask me, the attention to detail, the ingredients, the luxurious colors and the feeling on the lips these Nudus lipsticks present – all the work of Diana’s is clearly visible.

These lipsticks are a work of art – from the packaging on – the tubes are minimalist and elegant. The lipsticks themselves – really worth admiration. The Nudus lipsticks contain a myriad of lips – beneficial ingredients – from hydrating, nourishing to softening: antioxidants, minerals, vitamins…

* * *

Back in 2015 Diana and I chatted about which colors I’d wish to test and review; with so many beautiful colors to pick from, I picked the ones, which most align with my personal taste: 27 Kisses, Halo, Just Like Jade, Naked, and Precious.

Nudus Lipstick 27 Kisses

Nudus 27 Kisses may be the most praised of the Nudus lipsticks. On its own, the color is matte mauve-ish, with a very distant hint of bergundy, but on my lips – more than not peachy with a subtle matte pink. Yes, it’s rather difficult to properly describe this color, as it’s quite elusive, mostly based on the lips that are wearing it. One description of the Nudus 27 Kisses is easy – it’s a beautiful, elegant color, lovely for a day wear or for an evening occasion, when you’re bolder with your eye makeup and wish to compliment it with an elegant, nude-ish lipstick, which gives off a 60s feeling.

Nudus Lipstick Halo

Nudus Halo is a pretty and creamy almost standard pink, but not of the cheap-looking variety. Just as with all the Nudus lipsticks, this one, too is very pigmented and you can alternate between a full, almost matte with a hint of glosiness,  coverage or combine it with a lipbalm for a more subtle tinted-lipbalm-like look. This color compliments the smokey eye wonderfully.

Nudus Lipstick Precious

Nudus Precious is a happy Summer color – a bolder and more in-your-face pink-roses-in-in-full-bloom pink color for those who wish a wilder but not cheap-neon looking color on their lips. A minimal makeup, with only BB cream and a hint of mascara, along with yellow nail polish and a straw hat would bring this Nudus lipstick to life!

Nudus Lipstick Naked

Nudus Naked is a classic nude color on a light brown, cappuccino side of a color; there’s just a tiny bit of shimmer. I like to mix this one with the Nudus Halo. This color works nicely with brown-color based eye makeup, and for both, the eye makeup and the lip color to stand out, a bit of a rich, matte brown-purple-burgundy eye shadow would do the trick.

Nudus Lipstick Just Like Jade

Nudus Just Like Jade is like a royal plum, with a brownish nude undertone and a hint of shimmer. Very pigmented, rich color, made for festivities and elegant evenings paired with a gold nail polish; but for the day wear, I’d recommend it either using it with the most minimal makeup possible, or with lipbalm – the richness of the color will still be there, it will just be more subtle.

My final word?

Nudus Lipsticks

Nudus lipsticks are a work of art, made from a handful of excellent natural ingredients – there are so many skin and lips beneficial ingredients in these lipsticks – it’s just amazing! For a long time, it’s been you either got a lipstick of a beautiful color and terrible (including lead!) ingredients, or a lipstick with natural ingredients (though not as many excellent ingredients as the Nudus ones contain), but the colors may not have been up to par. Nudus lipsticks are in a league of their own – from gorgeous, highly pigmented and ongt lasting colors, to excellent ingredients, which leave your lips moisturized and nourished and soft. The fact that they come in an elegant and unique packaging is just another added bonus. Another bonus? You can easily mix the colors in order to create a new color! Go ahead and experiment!

The price? Yes, with €34 per lipstick, they fall into a more expensive category. Let’s be honest – €34 is not an easily affordable purchase when it comes to a lipstick. But – if you’re planning on splurging on one lipstick this year – let it be the Nudus one – you will me amazed by basically any color you pick and you will know you have an excellent selection of lips-beneficial ingredients on your lips as well.

From the time Diana, the founder and creator of these beautiful lipsticks had sent me these lipsticks and now, Nudus created 5 new colors – Amalia and Viva are surely on my wishlist! – and I think I can speak for all the Nudus’ fans out there – we’re eagerly awaiting what Diana, the natural and handcrafted lipsticks artist, will create in the near future.

The Nudus lipsticks deserve to be in your makeup bag, truly!

* * *

Tell me, have you had a chance to try these beautiful lipsticks yet? How did you like the Nudus lipsticks? Do you think €34 is a bit too expensive for a lipstick, even if it’s an all natural, with plenty of natural ingredients and comes in beautiful colors? I’m curious to hear what you think!

Nudus Lipsticks have been provided to Nature of Europe by Nudus for the purpose of an honest review. Special thanks go to the lovely Diana for generously providing these amazing lipsticks to me, for the hand-written note and for kind understanding as to the reasons for the delay in me providing this review.
